Adi Shankracharya
Adishankaracharya was born in 788 AD into a pious Nambudiri Brahman family in a quiet village called Kaladi on the Periyar (Purna) River, Kerala, southern India.
Adishankaracharya's life style was different from birth. Shankaracharya spread this knowledge of Vedas and Vedantas to all four corners of India. Their purpose is to make people aware of the divinity of the Lord, according to the Advaita proverb, Brahm is everywhere or self is Brahma i.e. who is I and I of Brahma The doctrine was propagated by Shankaracharya. With this, the power of Shiva and his divinity were told. The facts and doctrines purported by Shankaracharya in which there is an unmatched union of both earthly and divine experiences, which is not seen anywhere. Shankaracharya never diminished the importance of any deity nor reduced his multiplicity.
